A foundational class for anyone new to yoga or for seasonal practitioners who would like to refine their current practice. Class focuses on precise alignment using props. Only beginner poses are taught in this class so one has a good understanding of the foundations in order to safely navigate their way through any yoga tradition they choose to pursue.
This class is for more experienced practitioners who have studied with me for a while or have an established practice in any format. An understanding of the foundational poses is required in order to participate in this class. Class includes inversions! Please check in with me before signing up for this class.
A wonderful practice to balance our active lifestyles with long held poses that targets the deep connective tissue and fascia around the joints to improve mobility and remove stiffness. Based on the Taoist tradition, the practice stimulates the meridians to facilitate flow of energy (Prana or Chi) for nourishment of major organ systems and also teaches us the art of stillness- a desperate need in today's chaotic world. A 45-minute practice that is suitable for all levels, the class ends with a 15-minute deeply relaxing guided Savasana for the ultimate restoration of mind and body.
