Class Descriptions

Meditation

Meditation is a practice very dear to my heart. From over a decade of personal practice, attending different meditation retreats, listening to meditation teachers, and reading multiple books on meditation, I have come to the conclusion that meditation is one. Everything else out there is just a modality to reach this state, where all thoughts become quiet and we rest in our true essence. Meditation is a state of being. Everything else, namely chanting mantras, mala beads, soothing music, nature therapy, yoga practice, etc. are different paths to the same goal- quieting the cessations of the mind to know our true nature and becoming one with the ONE. 

I want to offer this gift to whoever is interested and passionate about this path of practice and hence, there is no price associated with this class. Donations are gladly accepted. 

We have this one life. We can choose to spend our entire lives dancing to the tunes of all the mental noise which is nothing but a collection of past experiences and future "predictions" based on past or we can learn to observe the thoughts for what they are, disassociate ourselves from those thoughts, and rest in the presence, the only place to access inner wisdom that is not contaminated from the outside societal influences. Sundays at 11am EST.

Alignment Yoga

Yoga class based on inspirations from my own personal practice of Iyengar yoga. Class involves instructions, demonstrations, proper alignment cues with emphasis on foundations, and usage of props (blocks, belts, chairs) based on unique needs of clients.

All Levels on Mondays at 8am EST. Level 2 on Saturdays at 9am EST.

Yin Yoga

Based on Daoist tradition, this is a deeply meditative practice done entirely on the floor. Practice involves long holds with use of props to assist in softening into the shape of the pose. This beautiful practice stresses the joints, connective tissue and fascia to help strengthen and rejuvenate them with the long holds.  Thursdays at 5pm EST.
