I am a RYT-200, E-RYT 200, YACEP, certified Yin Yoga teacher, certified Yoga Health Counselor and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach specializing in Gut and Hormone Health.
Like many of you, I also have a story of mental and physical challenges that led me to discovering my own healing journey. Meditation came to me as a blessing in 2010 when I was lost in a dark tunnel of hopelessness and despair. That led me to becoming a Yoga teacher in 2015 and from that point onwards, I embarked on a journey of health and wellness through lifestyle medicine and became a certified Health Coach specializing in gut and hormone health from IIN in 2022.
I am a long-time student and practitioner of Iyengar yoga. I teach Alignment Yoga that is infused with my own insights from Iyengar Yoga. I also teach Yin Yoga and Meditation.
The seeds to my passion for mindfulness, health and wellness were planted in my childhood when the colors at the farmer's market and grocery stores enticed me as a little kid and simultaneously, I began questioning the deeper meaning to our life experiences.
Over the years, I have not only accomplished food disorders, body dysmorphia, mental roadblocks around calories but also made peace with the weighing scale. Instead, I gauge how I feel based on my energy level, attitude, brain function, cravings, sleep, etc. I have also learned to cut out external noise and tune inwards to nurture my body from the inside out from a place of inner knowing and intuitive wisdom.
I have a deep passion for helping people live a life of joy, happiness, and fulfillment. I love it when I see others live a purpose-driven life. I will be your guide, friend, mentor and teacher to help you achieve your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual goals through nutrition, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and daily practices/ rituals to create a sense of self-awareness and life-long sustainable habits of well-being.
