Fridays 4pm-6pm (8-weeks)
I have created this eight week long series for anyone who is brand new to yoga, has some experience or has an established practice who would like to refresh their skills and go back to the basics. The passion behind this series is to prevent yoga-related injuries that I have seen time and again in my yoga career. This series will be eight weeks long, will be dedicated to small groups, and will meet every Friday at 4pm for eight weeks.
This is what you can expect in the series:
- understanding foundations from the feet up.
- understanding proper form and posture-awareness like the trunk of a tree.
- branching out into different postures ensuring the foundation remains stable and steady.
- understanding how breath plays a key role while holding the posture.
- use of props (blocks, chairs, walls, etc.) as needed based on each person's unique needs and physical limitations.
- all ages and genders are welcome to this foundational series which will create a deep sense of awareness around safely practicing yoga and creating a sustainable long-term practice that you can love and benefit from for both physical and mental well-being.
